A New Year’s Smile

The Basement will be hosting a celebration afternoon on Monday 31st of December, New Year’s Eve!

We are inviting service users from our own organisation and partner agencies to write a piece, or a poem that includes the words:

“What I wish for my new year’s smile…”

The aim of the event is to encourage and bring out the hopes and aspirations of the people who use our services and give them a chance to share their dreams.

The event will bring Homeless agencies and Recovering Communities together; by using the arts to promote and celebrate life. It also provides the ideal environment for services to engage with marginalised groups in an informal and entertaining setting.

If your organisation would like a FREE! stall for the event . Please book quickly there is limited space. If at your service there are clients who would take part in the New Year’s Smile event – they are welcome to come along on the day and put their names down.

There will also be various performances and a FREE BUFFET!!

The event starts at 12 00 noon to 4pm.  Stall holders to arrive at 11.00am. To book a stall please contact Ellen Roach at The Basement Advisory Centre 0151 707 1515 e-mail ellenroach@the-basement.org
