Circo Roll Up!

Circo Roll Up to support The Basement!

Circo Bar and Restaurant have pledged to help The Basement with a series of fun events and fundraisers throughout 2014.

The Basement Advisory Centre works with adults who are homeless and those with substance misuse issues. Many of these people are sleeping rough on the very streets we pass through to work, go shopping and travel home on every day.

Services on offer include, counselling, medical treatment and street based outreach which is delivered 5 days a week, to engage with rough sleepers and those drinking and begging in the city centre and surrounding areas.

Circo based in the Albert Dock Liverpool will be launching their fundraising efforts with a spectacular Easter Family Fun Day on Sunday, 20th April. The highlight of the day will include ‘The Cheese Cake Challenge’ where contestants will line up to devour giant sized cakes made by the popular Sugar Cup Cakes Bakery on Picton Road.

Basement Team with some of Circo's Characters!

Danny Claeys from Circo commented:
“We are so proud to support the Basement, it’s not often that small local charities get the recognition they deserve and the team at Circo are really looking forward to supporting The Basement and learning more about the vital work they do. Even the staff have offered to contribute some of their hard earned tips and customers can get involved by adding a £1 donation on top of their bill.”
